12/10/2025 - Pancho Clos Visits Lubbock

Pancho Clos who is Santa Claus cousin will be arriving in Lubbock on Sunday, December 20th at Maggie Trejo SuperCenter. He will be departing the Firehouse which is located at 1719 Buddy Holly Avenue at 1 pm at 1:15 pm he will be escorted by a Caravan of bikers and car clubs to the Maggie Trejo Center which is located on Amherst & Gary Avenue in the Arnett Benson area. Pancho Clos plans to give out toys and bags of fruit and candy to the kids who come out to welcome and visits him. Pancho Clos will be riding in a Hummer provided by Reagor/Dykes Auto Group.

The “Pancho Clos” project is sponsored by the American GI Forum and co-­‐sponsored by the Community Foundation of West Texas. This project originated here in Lubbock in 1971 by three members of the American GI forum, the late Bidal Aguero, the late Gus Medina and the late Jesse Reyes all from Lubbock. The project has been a big success and now we have additional 100 volunteers from the Lubbock Hispanic Police Association, Solitos Car Club, Los Carnales La Familia Bikers Club, Girl Scouts Troop #6073, Lubbock Patriots Baseball.
