Lubbock will soon have a new Italian restaurant. Campisi’s Italian Restaurant is expected to open in this summer.

The oldest family-owned Italian restaurant in Texas will be located at 82nd and Quaker,  near Subway and Starbucks.

The first Campisi’s opened in Dallas in 1946. One Campisi’s is location near SMU on Mockingbird Lane.

Campisi’s currently operates 10 locations in  Dallas-Fort Worth and the Lubbock location will be the first outside of DFW. 

The current CEO of Campisi’s, David Campisi, is a 1992 Texas Tech graduate.
