Easter Egg Hunts:
Hodges to host egg hunt at arboretum
Hodges Community Center is host to the eighth annual Easter Egg Hunt beginning at 10 a.m. March 28.
Families can take photographs with the Easter Bunny as well as participate in face painting and games before the hunt begins at 11 a.m. next door at the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum, south of Hodges Community Center, at 41st Street and University Avenue.
Thousands of eggs will be scattered throughout the arboretum grounds. Kids of all ages are invited to this free community event. Baskets are not included.
Buffalo Springs Lake Easter Egg Scramble and Spring Fair
Come join us for another Easter Egg Scramble on Saturday, April 4th, 2015!
We will have lot’s of Easter eggs for the kids to hunt starting at 2:00 PM. It is FREE for children 11 years and younger to participate!
Bring your children and grandchildren out for some early Easter fun while you shop at our newly added Spring Fair!
We will have local vendors selling unique and hand crafted items! Come out to the lake on April 4th, 2015 and enjoy your Easter with us!
Second Annual Beeping Egg Hunt scheduled for March 29
Alstrom Angels will host a Beeping Egg Hunt on March 29 at Maxey Park.
This will be the second year for the hunt, which includes beeping Easter eggs for blind children and blindfolds for sighted children to hunt them too.
The event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. and is open to the public.
It will include continuous hunts throughout the afternoon, according to a press release from Alstrom Angels.
Maxey Park is located at 30th St. and Nashville Avenue.
Alstrom Angels is a nonprofit organization that raises funds and awareness for Alstrom Syndrome. For additional information about the organization or the event, visit www.alstromangels.com.

Monday - Thursday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 6 p.m.
Rawlings Community Center’s Easter Bunny Brunch
Crafts include bunny ears, an Easter picture frame and an Easter Egg magnet! Pin the Tail on the Bunny, Bunny Hop Race and photos with the Easter Bunny!
Cost is just $3 per person, and pre-registration is required. Space is limited to 60 participants.
