In just a couple of weeks The Blue Light and myself are going to showcase a few of the lasting local songwriters from the great scene of Lubbock. I honestly owe much of who I am as a songwriter to these guys and want to pay it forward on these three evenings this summer. Each one of these individuals has written songs that have affected me and so many others on the South Plains and its time to honor the men and the music! Songs will be played, embellished stories shared, but most of all you can listen to living history of Lubbock music. These are my friends and they are true Legends. Come be a part of something special! — with Kent Mings, Bryan Wheeler, Wade Parks, Charlie Stout, Mike Pritchard, Derwyn Glenn Flewellyn and Shane Rogers.
