10/10/2025 - Bikinis Restaurant chain now in Lubbock.
Lubbocknight out.com – For about three weeks now aficionados of the two piece bathing bikini suit that was invented in 1946 have not only been enjoying its design, but the great food and cold beer that the waitresses wearing them serve up as well.
The sports bar restaurant chain ATX Brands, LLC, is the owner of Lubbock’s new Bikinis Sports Bar and Grill, located in the old River Smith’s Chicken and catfish location on 8222 South University.
The company started in central Texas and has several locations throughout Texas. The sports bar dining chain even has its own town named after it. Bikinis, Tx is located just south of Fredericksburg in the Texas hill country.
Now here in south Lubbock one can enjoy a traditional sports bar with numerous TV’s and that serves up great comfort food in a lively atmosphere. The waitress staff is dressed in shorts and bikini tops – but nothing about the place is overtly offensive to normal tastes and sensibilities. The menu is abundant with choices of delicious sandwiches, juicy burgers, popular grilled items, tasty wings, tender steaks and fresh salads.
